Pomegranate Lemonade Spritzer
1 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice (5 to 6 lemons)
1/2 c. simple syrup
1/4 c. Just Jan’s Pomegranate Spread
Whirl together in the blender to mix. This is your “base”. Fill a favorite glass half full of this mix, (add vodka if you like) Add ice and club soda (or mineral water) to fill glass. Garnish with lemon slices and pomegranate arils.
Just Jan’s Sangria
1 bottle fruity red wine
4 oz. vodka (or brandy)
1/4 c. Just Jan’s Seedless Raspberry Spread
1/4 c. Just Jan’s Tangerine Marmalade
1 c. sliced citrus (meyer lemon, orange, lime, lemon)
Juice of a whole orange
Juice of a lime
ice
splash of mineral water or club soda
In a pitcher combine the red wine, vodka (or brandy) Just Jan’s Seedless Raspberry Spread, Just Jan’s Tangerine Marmalade, orange juice, lime juice. Chill until the flavors are melded. (4 to 8 hours) Serve in an ice filled glass with a splash of fizzy water.
Tangerine Basil Cocktail
4 to 5 basil leaves (you could use mint, cilantro or even thyme)
1 Tbsp. Just Jan’s Tangerine Marmalade
1 Tbsp. simple syrup
juice of 1/2 lime
2 oz. rum
ice
splash of club soda
Muddle the basil leaves, simple syrup, marmalade, and lime juice together. Add rum and fill the glass with ice and top off with a splash of club soda. Use a long handled spoon and stir. Garnish with a citrus slice.
Strawberry Rhubarb Collins 2 oz. vodka or gin 1 oz. *rhubarb simple syrup 1 Tbsp. Just Jan’s Organic Strawberry Spread juice of 1/2 lemon or lime Splash of club soda In a shaker combine the vodka, simple syrup, Just Jan’s Organic Strawberry Spread and lemon or lime juice. Shake until well combined. Pour into a glass and add ice. *Rhubarb Simple Syrup: makes about 1 cup 4 c. chopped rhubarb 1 c. sugar 1 c. water Combine the rhubarb, sugar, and water in sauce pan and bring to a boil.
