1 bottle of Zinfandel
1 1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 jar Just Jan’s Pomegranate Spread
1/2 jar Just Jan’s Tangerine Marmalade
2 cinnamon sticks
2 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 cup dried cherries
2 TBSP brown sugar
Garnish orange zest and orange slices
Pour one bottle of Zinfandel wine and water into a medium size pot and bring to a simmer. Add the brandy, marmalade, pomegranate spread, cinnamon, cloves, cherries and brown sugar and continue to simmer for approximately 15 minutes.
Add the brandy last and simmer for additional 2-3 minutes.
Ladle into mugs and garnish with a little orange zest and a slice of fresh orange.
Breakfast Martini
1 1/2 oz Vodka (or Gin)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Heaping Teaspoon of Just Jan’s Tangerine Marmalade
Tbsp. simple syrup
Ice
Shake all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker (or jar) Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
Just Jan’s Meyer Lemon Drop
2 parts vodka
2 Tbsp. Just Jan’s Meyer Lemon Curd
Juice of half a lemon (to taste)
Ice cubes
Put all ingredients in a mason jar or a cocktail shaker. Shake well. Pour into a beautiful glass.
Tangerine Marmalade Margarita
1 shot tequila1 Tbsp. Just Jan’s Tangerine Marmaladejuice of 1 limeiceShake
*Strain into the glass if you don’t want the bits of tangerine.
Muscadine Grape Jalapeno Martini
1 shot vodka1 heaping Tbsp. Just Jan’s Muscadine Grape SpreadJuice of 1/2 limeSimple syrup or your choice of sweetener to tastejalapeno slices to garnish (gives just the right amount of heat) *optional
Put vodka, grape spread and lime in a shaker. Shake well. Add ice. Shake some more. Strain into your favorite glass. Garnish with jalapeno slices. (optional)jalapeno slices to garnish (gives just the right amount of heat)
