Apricot Pepper Glazed Tofu

  When coming up with a recipe that uses my Apricot Pepper spread, I thought about a recipe my daughter made for me recently. It was a savory, slightly sweet and spicy sauce that caramelized around the crispy tofu and when drizzled on top of the rice made a delicious and very flavorful dish. Just Jan's Apricot Pepper BBQ Ribs

IBBQ Sauce Ingredients 1 Jar Just Jan’s Apricot Pepper Savory Spread 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 cup finely chopped yellow onion 2 teaspoons finely minced garlic 1 cup ketchup 1/3 cup honey 1/4 cup rice vinegar 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke BBQ Sauce Instructions Begin by finely chopping 1 cup of yellow onion. In a medium saucepan, heat the vegetable oil and place the onions in the pan. Add a little salt to the onions to help them release moisture. Fig and Balsamic Chicken

Ingredients: Whole chicken half of a cut lemon  4-5 sprigs fresh thyme Kosher salt  Ground pepper  2 Tbsp. olive oil  For the sauce: 1 Tbsp olive oil 1/3 cup Just Jan's Kadota Fig Spread 2 Tbsp good quality Balsamic vinegar 1/2 chopped shallot 2 cloves minced garlic 1 - 2 Tbsp unsalted butter Kosher salt - generous pinch Ground pepper - to taste Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
