The new year may have begun, but we couldn't resist giving you one last taste of the holidays. These scones are what would happen if you combined a chocolate orange with one of our cream scones. Except instead of orange flavored chocolate, we made an orange flavored scone and studded it with Ghiradelli dark and semisweet chocolate chunks. The result is a creamy, orange, chocolatey scone. We think its our best one yet!
Batches will be limited, so be sure to get your orders in quickly. Each bag has approximately 1 lb of scones. We bake our scones on Mondays, they are then frozen and packed for shipment.
Your scones should be frozen, partially frozen, cool to the touch or thawed when you open the package. If you are not serving or eating them immediately we recommend storing them in the freezer until you are ready to serve. Our scones can be stored in the freezer for up to 6 weeks, but fully thawed scones should only be thawed and re-frozen once.
All scones are fully baked and ready to eat when thawed. For the best experience though we recommend heating before serving.
Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 375 and bake scones for 20 minutes.
Microwave: Heat frozen scones for 45 seconds or until thawed and warmed through.
Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 375 and bake scones for 10-12 minutes.
Microwave: Heat thawed scones 30-45 seconds or until warmed through.
