Forever my love

As I sit here thinking,
the thoughts of you invade my mind.
Remember what it was like,
that brief moment in time.

It wasn't long enough,
we both realize that then.
The bond that we had,
grew stronger by the end.

It's hard for us now,
as we both step back into our own lives.
Wanting to be together,
and hearing each others cries.

Caring oh so deeply,
dreaming of the day we will be as one.
Then I come back to reality,
and see the day is to come.
