Aberration
I bounded down the stairs
with eagerness
But realized, halfway, I'd forgotten why;
Like glancing up towards the stretched out sky
Or seeing measureless angelic grace
Within the Contours of a face.
A moment when you look
again and see
Beyond the days of cotton wool routine,
Which blot away the pain thats never been
Why stagnant pools of high income careers
Are stiff reward for vying with your peers.
