My Prayer

In the darkest of despair
His light surrounds me
shielding me with His love
His strength everlasting

Now that I am His
in my heart and mind
His support is never-ending
His love for all time

All I had to offer
was just plainly what you see
but in His eyes I am beautiful
as the day He created me

So in my heart He dwells now
I am His to command
Oh Lord please help me
to be the best that I can !!
