Nothing Lost

You take my breath away,
and help me see my way.
That feelings on my mind,
have not been lost to time.

I reach my hand to you,
you feel me searching too.
To find the way back home,
my mind does seem to roam.

The distance of my heart,
'tis not the loneliest part.
To have the feeling shared,
and knowing someone cared.

My soul so lost to thought,
of things that can't be bought.
The kindness of some time,
of saying things most kind.

Of all the feelings most had,
sometimes seem almost sad.
For my days do take away,
many things I'd like to say.

You hold my heart in hand,
the fragments are like sand.
The caring that 'tis your way,
sheds the light upon my day.

I breathe my heart in time,
the hours that still art mine.
I shall take my feelings there,
show you how truly I do care.

The essence of leaving lost,
as sunshine melts the frost.
Regret shall not come with me,
