Have you ever loved someone
But knew they didn't care?
Have you ever felt like crying
But knew it would get you no were?
Have you ever closed your eyes really tight
And said a little prayer?
Or looked into their hearts
And wished that you were there?
Have you ever watched them walk away
Not wanting them to go?
And whisper, "Oh, I love you"
Yet never let them know?
Love is fun but hurts so much
The price you pay is high.
So I say don't fall in love
