Found
The pain of love lost fresh on the heart;
can the soul truly endure?
The release, letting go, forever depart;
hoping for new love that is pure.
A friend arises from the midst;
shared a drink though miles apart.
Can laughter be found more warming than this;
I think not; for this sings true in my heart.
The conversation turns to a serious matter;
something is building within.
My heart warmly served up on a crystal platter;
hoping upon hopes to be let in.
The adoration of the gift is returned in kind;
the soul flutters in the soothing wind.
Her gift received, face etched forever in time;
no time alone will I again spend.
The friendship builds unerringly;
the miles apart closing swiftly.
The calming of her voice still ringing;
love found again, not to be lost so quickly.
