Autumn Leaves

Tears fall
With autumn leaves
Memories fade
With forgotten dreams
Closer and closer
To farther away
Mouths open
With nothing to say
Hours and hours
Days and days
With every minute
My heart pays
My life falls
Like crumbling walls
Sorrow surrounds
Anger pounds
Jealousy burns
Hunger yearns
Time flies
Happiness dies
Every day
A step away
Every hour
A loss of power
Nothing
Is as it seems
Meaningless
Useless
Shattered
Dreams
