I am Torment
You know me well
I am with you when you greet the day
Praying I have gone away
Still I am with you
And with you I will stay
When upon your lonesome lips
You force a smile
I am with you all the while
When you close your empty eyes
And swallow your pain
I gladly bring it back again
When you have cried
Until your eyes are sore
I give you strength
To weep more and more
When you lay helpless and broken
Dying inside
I spit in your face
And cast you aside
When you are on your knees begging
Pleading for one momen without confusion
One split second free from pain
I laught at your pathetic misery
And shower you with acid rain
I tease you
I taunt you
I bring your past back to haunt you
Torment
When will you leave me
Torment
Please go away
I am torment
