The Defining Moments Of Our Lives

For each of us there comes DEFINING MOMENTS
Which shape our Life, and our Destiny,
Some of them are those of our own strivings--
Then comes those, which we could not forsee.

The Loss of a "SIGNIFICANT OTHER'
Becomes a Defining Moment true,
Whether a Spouse, a Child, or a Mother--
We then are facewd with what we Must do!

With that Time, there is such a sense of Losing
That we rarely look at what is Gained:
A chance to Prove just how Special they were
Their Good, enshrined by our Lives--thus retained!

Thus as You face your Defining Moment--
I trust that You, this Challenge will meet:
Your Loved One lives on by the Life You lead--
And by Yours, that Life's Good is Complete!
