A darkness decends on me...
Closing my eyes...
A vision enfolding me...

Some think the light is safety...
They don't agree with me...
For I yearn for darkness...
The shadows engulfing me...

Like the hands around my throat...
Stealing the breath from me...
The darkness sucks me in...
Then shows me more of me...

Ah the Bliss of darkness...
Always chasing me...
The sweet caress of darkness
Continuously loving me...

If I were to sleep...
Would the darkness stay with me...
