A Light-hearted Poem
blond and lithe
she moves
carefree
through the restaurant
up and down
the ladder
changing
light bulbs
and turning on lights
for those of us
sitting in darkness
drinking our books
and reading our drinks
thirsty for more
and grateful for
the diversion
then she said
let there be light
and after the sixth bulb
She rested
gracious la Goddessita
por la luce
