Holding On to A Love That Doesn't Want To Be Held On To

Love,
What is love,
But complete compassion to be shared with - one another
A bond, a truce, a touch, a quiver
A commitment to be held in the highest court
But what of love do we feel
Are we deserving of this solitude
are we to be truly alone nomatter how close
-we get to one another
how selfish is it to want to offer one's- self to be complete, whole as a pair
Unless one must realize that he is -hindering the expressive expansion of another
it is then that we must show the greatest -of love and let them go
To realize that then once one has "loved and-lost" he has the potential to love again.
