Too many times, love has been lost
To words unspoken, because of what they may cost.

Too many times I've wanted to say,
"I'll love you forever, just show me the way."

But I never said those words, for I was afraid.
If it weren't for my fear, you might have stayed.

But now you're gone and I must move on.
I learned my lesson and will speak my mind from now on.
