THE MOON, THE MAGNIFICENT MILKY
WHITE MOON
She floats in the sundown,
And cheerio's light;
She serenades stars
And glides in midnight.
She dances in darkness
And cheers banal black,
She kisses the comets
And puts them on track.
she's keeper to all those
Who share her intrigue,
And mother to children
Who choose to believe;
That her eyes stay open
When ours are closed tight,
To make sure we're dreaming
And see we're alright.
