Wishing Well
I am the middle of the well
If you look right you can tell
My tears are genuinely sad
I raise my face, I lift my head
So many people I have met
Is not, what I do here, regret
The special one, I wanted most
Thought that I merely was a ghost
Just read the sign, it says it all
It's just for you as I recall
Make your wish, I'll do the spell
And only you can really tell
To dry my tears and make me pure
Uplift my heart, you are my cure
If begging is the thing you need
I'll bow myself and kiss your feet
I kiss the ground you walk upon
As only by well tears can be done
My heart where this here well has sprung
Is pounding wild just by your sight, so young
I merely offer you my loving heart
The place where things like this do start
The love there flowing takes a stand
I place it in your gentle hand
Now speak your wish, but do not tell
I will grant your wish so well...
